Job Board Policies

As part of our mission to support the local community, the Ocala I.T. Professionals maintains a job board in order to provide businesses and I.T. talent in the the Ocala / Marion County area with a way to connect and meet each other’s needs. This job board is intended for I.T. related employment announcements that represent clear and legitimate opportunities. In order to maintain the integrity of this service, the following rules apply to all content posted on this job board. These rules will be updated as required and postings that violate these conditions may be removed or suspended at the discretion of the administrators. Please contact us for more information.

  • Postings to the board must represent legitimate W-2 or 1099 employment opportunities. Work-from-home, multi-level marketing, direct selling, network marketing or other “entrepreneurial” advertisements are not allowed.
  • This job board is specific to technology jobs including all areas of information technology. Managerial, administrative and non-technical positions are allowed so long as the specific position falls within the scope of an I.T. department or operation.
  • Postings must include a clear description of the job being advertised. Descriptions should include such elements as job duties and requirements, qualifications, hours and location of the work, salary / wage and other information pertinent to the specific position. Business, service and product advertisements are not allowed. Postings that advertise the business and do not adequately describe the job will be removed at the administrator’s discretion.
  • Postings indicating discrimination based on gender, age, race, religion or other factors will be removed. Reports of discrimination by an employer on this board may result in the suspension of the employer’s postings. Verification will result in the permanent removal of the postings and the employer’s account.
